lyrics

915 weeks of bagged leaves and dead trees
pollen stains and heat waves.
I've been lead by the scruff of my neck
My claws don't have much traction on tile I guess.

I'll keep my dreams in my sleep and to myself.
Every summer I get younger.
My shoes light up with each step I take.
Band aids on my knees
But it's just me haunting the suburbs now.

All the monsters that were under my bed are living inside of me.
The sunburn on my face is my only high light left
and I'm worn thin like hand me downs.

This is my life story. I'm drowning in the fountain of my youth.
